How to Keep Teak Outdoor Furniture Clean.

With the official summer season here, people are spending more time outside.  Doing more outside activities like having BBQ with their friends or family, planting flowers and sport.  They also want to keep their patio furniture clean and looking fresh.  As a leading teak outdoor furniture manufacturer, Anderson Teak would like to share our little secret on how to clean the teak outdoor furniture after sitting their probably years without getting any cleaning attention.

As we all know that teak is strong, durable and resistant to outdoor elements because of its natural high content oil.  It is perfectly all right to leave outdoors and will beautifully turn to silver patina without having a down grade problem in strength.  Anderson Teak use full grown teakwood that has been harvested by local government sustainable sources, high quality, kiln-dried and carefully build by professional carpenters.  We provide in different categories and styles for the comfort of the users.

To keep the teak outdoor furniture looking new, Anderson Teak recommends cleaning it every spring time using water mixture with detergent liquid soap, scrub it with soft brush and rinse with fresh water.  For furniture which has not been washed for more than 2 years, we should do the technique by given the above two times.  Do not use bleach since it will damaging the beautiful grain and make the pores dry.   Thanks to teak’s natural oil content which make job easier when it comes to cleaning.
